===== Description =====
The **static** function ''unixDate()'' accepts a Unix Timestamp value, and uses the date/time functionality of the database server to return another timestamp. For versions of PHP earlier than 5, this function could be used to bypass limitations of dates before 1<sup>st</sup> January 1970. For databases that do not support the functionality, the function makes use of ADOdb time handling library.
